Chatuchak Market Part 5 - Amazing Twirling Tea Man
One of the "attractions" of Chatuchak Market seemed to be this twirling tea man. Make no mistake, there's no irony there. His stall was selling iced milk tea, and to prepare it, he mixed the boiling hot water, tea and condensed milk (and maybe a few more) ingredients by pouring the potentially scalding liquid above and around himself, all whilst spinning around on his heels - quickly and smoothly.

Chatuchak Market Part 4 - Baby Pigs, Squirrels, Rabbits and Other Pets
Chatuchak had a zone for pets and pet supplies. We read beforehand that this had been a place to sell endangered species and animals that weren't meant to be sold as pets although crack downs had pushed the activity to under the counter transactions.

As a result, we didn't see anything out of the ordinary, aside from some tame squirrels and baby pigs. But that's probably not surprising since we were tourists in a locally-aimed market. Chatuchak Market Part 2 - Stuff to Buy
One of the first "sights" we saw in Chatuchak Market was this mohawked dude, making me think we had stumbled on the Asian equivalent of Camden Market in the 90's. He was being filmed by a Thai interview crew, although I found his batch of leather accessories to be pretty cool (and very cheap).

Chatuchak Market Part 1 - JJ Market - Worlds Biggest Outdoor Weekend Market
We couldn't possibly visit Bangkok and not go to Chatuchak Market on Saturday. Also known as JJ Market, it was a massive shopping mecca covering thirty five acres and with an estimated five thousand stalls.

Even at that size, it was astonishing to see that it was completely packed with crowds. JJ Market is apparently the largest market in Thailand but it seems to be the largest in the world! They even have their own mini shuttle bus to ferry customers around.
