Singapore’s Basheer Books for Creative People

As a designer, the Basheer Books store was a cool destination for me - a shop in the Bras Basah Complex (Bras Basah Road in Central Singapore) which has similar stock to the UK's Magma Books. There's a Basheer Books in Hong Kong too, but Singapore is where it started.
Our friend L brought us to Basheer Books and also introduced us to a couple of friends who run the Blue Beetle design agency.
They both were early clients of the man himself, Basheer, who actually plied his trade by taking books by hand to his customers and their offices - various agencies and designers.
Basheer's choice of books became a welcome source of inspiration and his popularity ultimately led to his own premises and then various outlets around Asia.
