Singapore Prawn Crackers
09 September, 2009
Wednesday
In one of central Singapore's markets, we saw these prawn crackers. We're now getting accustomed to seeing the same names for food, but with different interpretations and these prawn crackers are a little more in-your-face than the white ones you get in Chinese restaurants and takeaways in the UK (photo at the bottom).

The Singapore prawn crackers seem to have whole prawns in their shells in batter and were not-unlike the Crunchy West Lake Shrimp Cakes we tried in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Not for me. Has anyone tried the prawn crackers in Singapore and did you like it?
