Rain in Ho Chi Minh on our last day in Vietnam
30 March, 2009
Monday
During the last few days of our three weeks in Vietnam, I mentioned to Linh that I'd just realised that it hadn't rained at all during our visit. I did wonder how people desert the streets and take cover since I'd heard that when it does rain, its heavy.

Well, typically, it rained the day before we left. And the streets are no less empty, although it did seem that people were making their way to cover. These guys below were filing into the temple opposite us.

All the bikers seem to pack a waterproof plastic sheet so that the roads look like they're filled with mini tents. Luckily we're indoors at the time to escape the rain!
